“I didn’t want to live any more,” she said.
Paige talked to Renee Paquette about the leak of her sex tape and naked pictures in 2017 on her podcast. She said, “It was just the worst moment of my life. At first, I didn’t think it was real because I was like, 19, and I was like, completely and utterly embarrassed. The New York Post said, “I ran out of the house and I just kept fu**ing running, dude.”
She went on, “I would never wish that on anyone, because that’s the part of you that’s the most weak.” It’s the same as on the web. I felt so stupid and embarrassed, and at this point I was already a f**king cokehead who liked to drink and s**t in public.’” Paige, who said she was leaving professional wrestling in 2020, said, “I was like feeling like I didn’t want to be alive anymore. It’s f**king awful. I was just so damn sad.”
When Paige’s dad came to save her,
During her interview, Paige also said that she was worried that her father would be upset with her after seeing the leaked clip. To her surprise, her father told her to “suck it up” and gave her his support. “Well, what do you feel bad about? Who cares?,” Paige’s dad said. “You had sex. We’ve all done it. You’re just in the public eye, which is too bad.”
Then, Paige’s dad said, “It is what it is. You have to get over it. It will hurt for a short time. People will always make fun of you. I just want you to know that I’m still happy with you and proud of you.” The former WWE wrestler said that this made her feel “instantly different.”
