More proof showed that Gregory was leading two separate lives. He was having an affair with a woman named Betsy under a different name and identity for almost five years. When the convict’s girlfriend found out about his wife, she broke up with him. The man tried to kill his wife because of this.

Gregory Owens had been married to Rachel for 36 years when he shot and tried to kill her.
Greogory is from Londonderry, New Hampshire. On December 18, 2014, he broke into the home of his wife’s friend in Saco, where she was staying. He shot his wife and the homeowner, Steve Chabot, three times each while wearing a mask.
Luckily, they both made it. Rachel was in very bad shape when she was rushed to a hospital nearby. But she made it. The family says that a piece of the bullet is still in her brain.
All of this began with Gregory Owens’s two lives. On one side, he was with his wife of 36 years. On the other, he was with a woman named Betsy. She didn’t know who he was, even though they had been dating for over 5 years.
But one day Betsy thought Gregory was lying to her, so she decided to break up with him. He then went to Maine and killed his wife. At the time, his wife had early signs of dementia.

Wayne had a few things to say during the trial of his father. He said, “I think this has brought us closer together. It’s too bad that it had to happen this way to make us a stronger family.”

The family has tried to forget the terrible things that happened. But something like that continues to haunt, doesn’t it?
How I grew up and went to school
Owens was born in Brooklyn, New York, to Ethel (Werfel), a music and literature teacher, and Major Owens, a librarian who later served in the New York State Senate and the United States House of Representatives. From the second marriage of his father, he has two brothers and two half-siblings. Owens spent a year at the High School of Performing Arts and graduated from Yale University with honors in 1983.
Career
Owens’s first role was as Peter Pan in a play at Arcata High School. This first performance is what made him want to become an actor in the future.
Owens made his first appearance on TV in 1985. He played Elvin Tibideaux, Sondra Huxtable’s boyfriend, on the second season of The Cosby Show on NBC. Tibideaux married Sondra in 1987, which made him a regular character on the show. He was there until the end of the series in 1992.
In the first episode of season 6 of Elementary, he played a lawyer. On the FX comedy show It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, he has played himself. In the season 3 episode “The Gang Gets Invincible,” he shows up as an actor pretending to be Donovan McNabb to promote McDonald’s. The gang recognizes him as “that guy from The Cosby Show who played Sondra’s husband, Alvin.” In the season 7 episode “Frank’s Pretty Woman,” he plays the same character, but this time he pretends to be Tiger Woods. Dee, on the other hand, recognizes him as the person who pretended to be McNabb at the Eagles’ tryouts. Then, he says he’s not Tiger Woods, but then he says he’s actor Don Cheadle. In the second episode of Season 15, “The Gang Makes Lethal Weapon 7,” he plays the same character, but in the gang’s Lethal Weapon 7 movie, he plays Roger Murtaugh.
In the That’s So Raven episode “The Way We Were” from 2007, Owens played Eddie’s father as a guest star. He was also on the first episode of the new season of the NBC show Las Vegas.
In 2008, he was in the romantic comedy Play The Game, which also starred Paul Campbell, Andy Griffith, Doris Roberts, Liz Sheridan, Marla Sokoloff, and Juliette Jeffers.
In 2010, he played a mediator on the ABC Family show The Secret Life of the American Teenager. He also played a researcher on an episode of the ABC show FlashForward called “The Garden of Forking Paths.”
Owens played Casca in a Free-For-All production of Julius Caesar at the Shakespeare Theatre Company in 2011.
In 2015, he played an obstetrician on an episode of the NBC drama The Slap called “Ritchie.”
In an episode of the FOX drama Lucifer from 2017 called “Deceptive Little Parasite,” he played an assistant dean.
In 2018, The Daily Mail published photos of Owens working at Trader Joe’s, which many people called “job shaming.” Owens agreed with the label “job shaming,” and he quit because of all the unwanted attention. The story led producer Tyler Perry to offer Owens a ten-episode role in The Haves and the Have Nots. Owens also booked a guest-starring role on NCIS: New Orleans and supporting roles in the films Fatale and Hide and Seek.
In 2020, he starred in the film Impossible Monsters, where he played a police detective. “I’m usually cast as dads, lawyers, doctors, teachers, and so to play a detective it was really fun,” he said. He has now gained a supporting role in Power Book II: Ghost.
Teaching
Owens is the founder and artistic director of The Brooklyn Shakespeare Company. He has taught acting and Shakespeare at Columbia University, Yale, the Adult School of Montclair and Pace University. In addition to developing his own private Shakespeare workshop, he has been a guest teacher at universities, theaters, studios and high schools in the New York metropolitan area. He has also served as a judge for the National Shakespeare Competition semi-finals at Lincoln Center for at least 25 years.
Rachel Owens (born in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1972) is an American artist. She is best known for her multi-media sculptures and installations, which often incorporate a social component. Many of her works are made from crushed glass. [1] [2] She lives and works in New York, NY, and is an assistant professor of art and design at Purchase College, SUNY. [3]
Engaged in broad fields of practice from public art and traditional gallery work to activist based Community Theater, Owens tackles issues of hierarchical social conditions, environmental destruction, consumption and the points where these things intersect. Working sculpturally, performatively and socially, she uses material as meaning: what the sculpture is made of- is what the sculpture means- is what the sculpture does. Bottle shards, cardboard, coal, cut up humvees, and the dust of marble are all used to convey meaning, emotion, and action as they take on forms from porch to iceberg. Often with jobs beyond metaphor, the sculptures become stages, public seating, centers for protest and elevated vantage points.
Owens has been included in exhibitions both in the US and internationally including The X Krasnoyarsk Biennial, RU; Franco Soffiantino Contemporary, IT; Austrian Cultural Forum, NY; The Frist Museum, TN; Socrates Sculpture Park, LIC; and the New Museum Window, NY among others. In February of 2020, her solo museum show, The Hypogean Tip opened at The Housatonic Museum of Art in Bridgeport CT. She has had reviews and inclusion in publications including The New York Times, The New Yorker, Art in America, Modern Painters, Flash Art and Triple Canopy Anthology, and she has received grants from the Joan Mitchell, Pollack Krasner, and Harpo Foundations as well as a Cultural Humanitarian Grant from the US consulate. Her work can be found in many collections in the US and abroad, among them; The Beth Rudin Dewoody Collection, The Pritzker Family, Sprint Collection and D. Mullin JR. Owens is assistant professor of art & design and chair of the sculpture department at SUNY Purchase College.
