Episode 8 synopsis

Better Call Saul’s Season 6 episode before this one was titled Point and Shoot. Gordon Smith wrote the script, and Vince Gilligan directed it. In the episode, Lalo gave Jimmy the address of Gus’ home and told him to go there and shoot him.

Lalo was persuaded to send Kim by Jimmy, following which Lalo bound Jimmy to a chair and walked away. Mike stopped Jim at Gus’ front door, and she told him about everything that had happened with Lalo. Gus’ body duplicate, which matched Lalo’s description, was pointed out by her. Then Mike gave his guys the order to proceed to Jimmy and Kim’s apartment.

Gus realised the shooting attempt was a distraction and headed down to Lavandera Brillant when Kim claimed Lalo had consented for her to take Jimmy’s place. Gus planned to set up a meth lab, and Lalo was there to collect evidence. Gus was then ambushed, and his bodyguards were killed. After that, Gus showed Lalo the lab, which led to a blackout.

He reached for the concealed weapon in the shadows and started shooting Lalo. When the lights came on, he discovered that Lalo had hurt him but had also caused his death. In the meantime, Mike said that Howard’s death will be made to appear as a suicide as he and his men removed Howard’s body from Jimmy and Kim’s apartment. He then oversaw the burial of Howard and Lalo on the lab floor.
