Police in Philadelphia say that at 2:38 a.m. on June 24, James Lambert was attacked while crossing Cecil B. Moore Avenue near North 21st Street.
On Friday, PPD put a video of the attack that killed 73-year-old Lambert on YouTube. They said that the people who did it were three girls and four boys who looked to be in their early to mid-teens.

A police website says that the teens hit the victim multiple times with things, knocking him to the ground and hurting his brain. The person who was hurt was taken to the hospital, where he died the next day from his injuries.
In the video, you can see the young people running away from the area. One of them even got on a scooter and seemed to be talking to another young person right after the attack. A young person was also seen running down the sidewalk.
