Vince McMahon laughed at former WWE star for wanting to urinate during commentary

Renee Paquette, who used to be a WWE commentator, said that Vince McMahon laughed at her when she held her pee during a RAW show.

Paquette worked in WWE from 2012 to 2020. She used to go by the name Renee Young. In 2018, she was the first woman to work full-time as a commentator for the company. She went from being an interviewer and host backstage to working at the company’s commentary desk.

Renee Paquette said on a recent episode of her podcast The Sessions with Renee Paquette that she had to go to the bathroom during an episode of RAW and that Vince McMahon laughed about it after the show was over.

“I remember one time when I was commentating on RAW and it was well into the third hour. My teeth are floating, and I had to go to the bathroom so, so badly. So every time there’s a commercial, I hold my breath and say, “Guys, I have to go!” Cole and Graves are passing their water back and forth and talking about rivers and lakes. As soon as the show is over, I start reading Gorilla, and Vince laughs. “He loved that I kept it inside for so long,” Paquette said. [Credits to Inside the Ropes]

During the show, her co-hosts, Michael Cole and Corey Graves, made jokes about her situation and made things worse for her.

In an interview with NBC Sports, Paquette said that she was grateful and happy to be a commentator on RAW, but she didn’t like her time behind the announcers’ desk.

“I’m so glad that I was the one to step in and do that, that I got to make history, and that I had the chance to step in and do that. That’s great. But I didn’t really like the job itself “the former WWE star said.

Paquette said that she likes being a host because it lets her show off her personality, which she couldn’t do as a commentator.

In the summer of 2020, Paquette left the company and started her own podcast, Oral Sessions with Renee Paquette.
