In Kiely Rodni missing case, It turns out, two other people vanished on the same day
A representative for the Yuba City Police Department stated that there is no evidence to support a connection between the two cases.
A woman and her ex-boyfriend vanished while traveling to Reno, Nevada, some 35 miles from the location of the search efforts for Kiely Rodni, who vanished a day earlier.
On August 7, Juan Almanza Zavala, 36, and Janette “JJ” Pantoja, 29, went to the Hot August Nights auto show. According to Janette’s sister Alejandra, the couple had split seven years prior but remained friendly. On August 6 at 11 p.m., Janette texted her current lover to let him know she would be there in 30 minutes.
Alejandra informed Fox News Digital that Janette had ceased revealing her location and that her boyfriend had received a message to that effect. She simply never expressed anything other than that, Alejandra remarked, adding, “She’s not like that.”
The Yuba City police said that the ex-phones couple’s last displayed Nevada County as the location when they were out for dinner or attending festivities. Juan and Janette were returning to Yuba City, California, from Reno, Nevada. The Prosser Family Campground, where 16-year-old Rodni was last seen around 23 hours ago, is located about 35 miles northwest of Reno.
A representative for the Yuba City Police Department said that there is no evidence to support a connection between the two cases. Juan’s blue 2002 Ford Explorer SUV, bearing the license plate 4SNS072, is thought to have been the vehicle that Janette and Juan were traveling in.
Alejandra Pantoja believes that the authorities are not working with her sister’s case enough. She added, “I contacted them today because I wanted to know about my sister, and they said we can’t keep in contact with you every day,” saying, “I thought cops were really nasty.”
They had promised to deploy an aircraft search, but Alejandra said, “They haven’t done that.” I just feel like they’re giving (suspects) time to run if something happened to them or if he hurt her, she said.
Added she, “Why are they making such a big fuss about her (Kiely Rodni) but not about a member of our family? Not acceptable.”
On Saturday, August 6, at about 1:30 am, Rodni vanished after leaving the campground following a “big party that night, alongside more than 100 young adults.” Her 2013 silver Honda CRV with the California license plate 8YUR127 is also missing, according to the authorities.
