Wrestling that is a Mess (2010–2012)
In 2008, Kaestner-Varnado started wrestling training at Chaotic Wrestling (CW), which has its headquarters in Woburn, Massachusetts.
[source: missing citation] It was on October 1, 2010, that she made her ring debut under the ring moniker Mercedes KV. The contest was an intergender tag team match, and they ended up losing against Alexxis and Danny E. She joined up with Nikki Roxx for the bout. KV and Roxx teamed up frequently and supported one another at the ringside after they swiftly came to an understanding and built a friendship. KV’s first ever match in the singles competition was on October 22 and she was defeated by Danny E, who also won their rematch on November 13.
KV won her first match on January 7, 2011, when she and Roxx prevailed in a tag team battle against Alexxis and Mistress Belmont. This victory marked KV’s debut in the ring. On February 11, KV competed in a five-woman gauntlet match to determine the first ever Chaotic Wrestling Women’s Champion, however she was unable to win the title. KV continued to compete in singles battles during the remainder of 2011, and on December 2, she won the Chaotic Wrestling Women’s Championship for the first time by defeating Alexxis in a “I Quit” match.
On January 6, 2012, KV was able to successfully defend her championship against Barbie for the first time. On January 27, KV competed against Luscious Latasha with the championship at stake. Despite losing to Latasha, KV was able to defend her crown. In a rematch versus Alexxis, KV was able to successfully defend their title and win the championship. After that, she was victorious in both of her defenses of the championship against Nikki Roxx. After KV won a fatal four-way match against Alexxis, Barbie, and Mistress Belmont on June 1, she successfully defended her title and broke Alexxis’s previous record of 182 days as the longest-reigning Chaotic Wrestling Women’s Champion. KV is now the longest-reigning champion in the history of the promotion. KV proceeded to defend her title and was ultimately victorious in doing so against Barbie on June 24, Aida Marie on July 20, and Kasey Ray on August 17. On August 18, KV made her final appearance for Chaotic Wrestling, which ended with her suffering a defeat at the hands of Ivy Fit in a match that was not for a championship. Following Kaestner-signing Varnado’s of a contract with WWE on August 17, the Chaotic Wrestling Women’s Championship was subsequently declared vacant, bringing an end to her reign that had lasted 259 days.

On September 4, 2011, she made her return to the NECW, once again teaming up with Ivy. Together, they were victorious over Mistress Belmont and Veda Scott. KV earned the victory in a singles match against Mistress Belmont on September 23. KV made her second appearance in the promotion on July 14, 2012, at the Red White and Bruised event. Unfortunately for her, Adrianna was able to win the match by countout and beat KV.
KV made her professional wrestling debut for the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) on November 19, 2010, competing under the ring name Miss Mercedes. She was unsuccessful in her match against Julian Starr. Mercedes was victorious in her singles battles against Sheik Ali and Nick Fahrenheit throughout the course of the next two nights. A rivalry between Mercedes and The Great Cheyenne developed after Mercedes was defeated by the latter on multiple occasions. On the 9th of August 2011, she competed in her final match for the NWA, which was a singles match against Arlene, which she won.
