Lorena Goodger, Lauren Goodger’s infant daughter, died shortly after birth

Although the umbilical cord tying around Lauren Goodger’s neck caused her baby to pass away, no other explanation for the unfortunate incident was provided. On July 8, the baby passed away, and the reality star posted on social media to inform her followers.

The mother also requested some privacy so that she could grieve in private while talking about the suffering she and her lover Charles Drury had to endure. She penned:

“I have returned from the hospital. Please allow me to ask photographers to respect our privacy at this time as we have a lot of grief and funeral planning to do. Charlie and I spent as much time as possible with our infant daughter Lorena, and I haven’t said goodbye yet.”
While mentioning Lorena, Lauren Goodger chose not to go into depth about her passing and instead wrote:

“Her was wonderful and healthy, and there were no issues with her pregnancy or labour. I won’t go into detail at this time; just know that she and I were both flawless. I don’t get why because she is such a stunning twin to Larose. I’m shattered.”

Lauren continued, saying that even though she and Charles had returned from the hospital, she and Lorena were still together. The mother spent a full day at the hospital with Lorena after her untimely demise.

In an interview with OK!, Goodger also discussed the news, revealing that despite their best efforts, the doctors were unable to bring Lorena back to life. She regretfully acknowledged to the magazine that she still had a “little of a bump” from her pregnancy and said:

“This one isn’t moving. It’s odd, because sometimes it feels like she’s still there. My body is so uneasy; it seems like a baby is absent.

A post-mortem on Lorena was requested, according to Lauren Goodger, in order to determine the true cause of death. Additionally, it has been stated that medical professionals think the baby’s oxygen supply “may have been reduced.”
