Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board holds the class 10th board exam every year during the month of February or March. They are the regulatory body for the school education system in Karnataka.
The board not only conducts exams but also authorizes the syllabus, textbook along with the medium of instruction for the school education system of the state. Presently it conducts various examinations for different classes and courses.
Karnataka SSLC Class 10th examination of 2021
Every year the board conducts examinations in the month of January to February. But this year the exams were conducted in the month of June and July due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Every year thousands of students appeared for the Karnataka Senior Secondary Examination Board in various centers.

Time table set up by the Board
The state board of examination for Karnataka has designed the time table in such a way that the student gets enough time for a proper revision before the examination. There will be an irregular interval of almost two-three days between each exam. The practical examinations will commence from the second or third week of July.

The class 10th board examination includes a variety of subjects and languages. The students will be appearing for examinations ranging from Sanskrit, Urdu, and Hindi to other subjects such as maths, science, and social studies. The art section of the examination includes vocal music, instrumental music, home science, and much more.
On the other hand, Commerce students will be giving examinations on economics, bookkeeping, accountancy, and elements of the business. Several other subjects such as economics, agriculture, and computer science are also available.

The Karnataka board exam time table contains the regular as well as the vocational subject’s schedule. A lot of schools in Karnataka affiliated to the state board as a result of which thousands of students appeared in the exam every year although the board exams were delayed this year due to the covid-19 pandemic it is expected that the next examination will be held on time. The tentative date for the Board examinations of 2021 is the second or the third week of June.
- Practical and oral examinations will be conducted in the month of June at the respective centers
- The candidates are given 15 minutes of extra time to read the question paper in all of the subject examinations.
Since the Board examinations mark an important aspect of a student’s life it is important for all the students to prepare for the examination well before the time in order to get a good score.
